The sponsors invited her to play at the 2015 ANA Inspiration LPGA Tour, but she missed the cut. Lee was a member of the USA in the Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup Women's World Amateur Team Championship and the Junior Ryder Cup. The moment she first came to Stanford University in 2016, Lee was Stanford's most decorated player to that point. She was awarded nine championships in the span of three years. Lee, who graduated in 2018, quit Stanford University for the professional world. Her amateur years included 17 consecutive weeks at the top on the World Amateur Golf Ranking.
